Etisalat has now been changed to 9mobile but these tariff plans and subscription codes should work on your 9mobile line without any issues.

I remember writing about various Etisalat plan, prepaid plans, postpaid plans, as well as Etisalat business plan. If you have not seen any of these articles, I’d advise you do a little search using the search field on this site.

In this article, I’ll be talking about all these various plans, in a single article. However, it will be in summary. So, if you want to want to know more about these plans, you should search for the article on, Etisalat Prepaid Plan, Etisalat Postpaid plan, and Etisalat Business plan.

They are very detailed and will provide you with any information you may need with regards to the plans.

Also, at the end of the article, I’d recommend which one is best. Please note that this is my opinion and you are free to go for whatever plan works for you.

Etisalat Easy Starter

This plan was originally introduced to benefit family and friends. With this plan, you have a small group of people you can always call for free. This small group is known as you & me.

Easy starter offers its subscribers a lot of benefit which include:

  • You and Me:  this allows you to register 5 numbers as family and friends. Once you recharge 200 NGN in a week, you receive 300 NGN free airtime to call the 5 registered Family and Friends number for a week. To register You & Me numbers, simply dial *233*1*Etisalat number#. To remove the number from You & me, dial *233*2*Etisalat number#
  • Free Data: you will receive the 10MB worth of free browsing data after recharging a minimum of 100 NGN in a week.
  • Receiver pays: this allows you to make calls even when you don’t have airtime, while the call receiver pays for the call charges. To make such call, you will have to include 268 in front of the number
  • Your daily call rate will drop from 40k per sec to 20k per sec if you spend a minimum of 25 NGN daily

To migrate to the Etisalat Easy Starter prepaid plan, dial *244*2#

Etisalat Easy Cliq

This plan is easily known as the Etisalat Night plan and it comes with a lot of benefits which includes:

  • Free midnight calls from 12:30 am to 4:30 am when you recharge a minimum of 100 NGN
  • Unlimited SMS
  • Receiver pays: Which is a feature that allows you to make calls without airtime and the receiver will pay for the call. To make this call, dial 268 before the number.
  • You will also enjoy a 150% bonus on every recharge to call all network.
  • When you spend 25 Naira daily, you get to make calls at a lower rate. 20k/sec to cliq customers, 25k/sec to other Etisalat lines and 30k/sec to other networks.
  • To enjoy an extra 1MB free data at 5 NGN daily, register for the Cliq-4-d-day service. To register, dial *330*1#. To opt out, dial *330*2#.

To migrate to this Etisalat prepaid plan, dial *244*1# or dial 200 and press 2.

Etisalat Easy Flex

This plan gives you more value to make calls and also offer pay as you going browsing option. It has different flex bundles which you can read about on their website.

Easy Flex plan offers you 300% or more when you buy flex bundles of 300, 500 and 1000. But the bonus offer

To opt-in dial *344* bundle Amount# or send the amount to 344. To opt out, dial *344*0# or send OFF to 344.

This plan offers no data bonus and has a flat call rate of 40k per second.

Etisalat Easy Life

Easy life offers you a flat call rate of 15k/sec across all network in Nigeria. While also making calls to some selected international countries at the same rate. These countries are Canada, China, India, Germany, Malaysia, The United Kingdom and The United States of America. However, you will be billed a 5 NGN daily fee on your first call. Other benefits include:

  • 4 NGN for national SMS and 15 NGN for international SMS
  • MMS cost 100 NGN
  • Pay as you go data plan at 5k per kilobyte.

To migrate to the Etisalat Easy life prepaid plan, dial *620*1# or send 1 to 620

Etisalat Talkzone

With Etisalat Talkzone, you get up to 80% discount to call other Etisalat number at a call rate of 12k/sec. This call rates can only apply to certain zones during the day. So, ensure you confirm the zone rate before making your calls.

To opt-in to this plan, dial *244*8#. While to check the tariff of the area you are calling dial *551#.

Etisalat Easylife Postpaid

Easylife postpaid is different from easylife prepaid. This plan has a monthly billing feature and is perfect for lovers of flexible monthly phone billing.

With this plan, you will enjoy a flat call rate of 15k per second to all local networks and to 7 international countries (USA, UK, Canada, China, India, Germany, and Malaysia). Other benefits include:

  • 600 free text each month to Etisalat numbers
  • 30MB free data monthly
  • VIP blacklist which allows you to block certain numbers from calling you
  • VIP whitelist which allows you to receive calls from only numbers on your registered list
  • Allows you to own two separate accounts, prepaid/postpaid account.
  • Enjoy free incoming calls while roaming on selected networks in 10 countries when you recharge 5,000 NGN and above within a month. Valid for 30 days

It has a monthly access fee of 500 NGN

You can pay for your postpaid bill using a recharge card by dialing *222*PIN*1#

Etisalat EasyFlex Postpaid

The Etisalat easyflex postpaid bundle plan was designed to give more value for money. With this plan, you will receive over 300% value on a selection of 5 bundle plans. Other benefits of easyflex postpaid plan include:

  • VIP blacklist
  • VIP whitelist
  • Roaming in over 180 countries
  • Own prepaid and postpaid account
  • Enjoy free incoming calls while roaming on selected networks in 10 countries when you recharge 5,000 NGN and above within a month. service is valid for 30 days

Etisalat business plan

Etisalat Business plan known as EasyBusiness was introduced for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Etisalat business plan comes in 3 packages, which include:

  • EasyBusiness Compact plan gets you free 500 minutes for calls. These calls can be made at any time of the day. To subscribe for this plan, Etisalat will charge you 500 NGN. So, make sure you have at least 500 NGN in your account balance before trying to subscribe. To activate the EasyBusiness Compact plan, dial *246*4*3#
  • EasyBusiness complete plan gets you free 500minutes for calls, 50 free SMS and 100MB for browsing. This plan cost 1000 NGN which will be deducted from your account balance. To activate the complete plan, dial *246*4*2#
  • EasyBusiness Premium plan gives you unlimited free calls for one month. The premium plan cost 1000 NGN. To activate this plan, dial *246*4*1#


From the above plans I’ve listed, I believe Etisalat EasyFlex is the best plan for me. Considering the fact that it offers you a flat call rate across all local network as well as some international countries. If you prefer postpaid plans to prepaid plans, you can also go for Etisalat easyflex postpaid.
