Airtel has four zones which are the zone A, zone B, C and D, the tariff payable depends on the zone the international destination you want to travel to is in.

Most European countries fall under the same zone and for those planning to travel to U.S the roaming pack has a validity period of 30 days.

When you buy a plan for a specific zone, you will be able to use the pack when you travel to other countries in that same zone.

Airtel roaming ZONE A – Pack call rates

Zone A has the most affordable tariffs and allows you use the roaming service in over 6 countries which are Australia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

You will get unlimited incoming calls on all plans and also 100 free texts. The first pack in zone A costs just rs.499 which is about N2500 in Nigeria currency and offers 500MB with free 100 minutes of talk time.

The second plan costs rs.1,199 which is about N6,000 in Nigeria currency and offers 3GB data plus 250 minutes to make calls.

Airtel roaming Zone A also have a 30 days validity plan which goes for 2,499 indian rupee and offers 5GB data and 500 minutes free minutes for calls.

Airtel roaming ZONE B – Pack call rates

Zone B covers 50 countries some of which are China, Canada, United Kingdom, U.S and most European countries.

The plan in this zone are the 1 day validity plan that cost 649 Indian rupees and offers 500MB with 100 free minutes for calls.

The 10 days pack goes for 2,999 india rupees and offers 3GB data with 250 free calling minutes, while the 30 days validity plan goes for 3,999 indian rupee and offers 5GB data with 500 minutes for calls.

Airtel roaming ZONE C – Pack call rates

Zone C cover 8 countries which are Brazil, Japan, Jordan, Nepal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Russia and United Arab Emirates.

The tariff of Airtel Zone C is the same as the payments in zone B and so is the validity periods for the three available plans.

Airtel roaming ZONE D – pack call rates

The zone D covers lots of African and South American countries, this zone like the other zones also have three packs on offer.

All packs on this zone has a standard 100 texts per day, the first pack offers 500MB with free 100 minutes for calls and costs 999 Indian rupees which is about N5000 in Nigeria currency and has a validity period of 0ne day.

The second pack costs 3,999 Indian rupees and offers 3GB data and 250 incoming minutes valid for 10 days. The zone also has the 30 days validity pack which cost 6,999 Indian rupee and offers 5GB data plus 500 minutes for making calls.
